Arthralgia as a First Symptom of Pulmonary Lesions

Arthralgia may be the earliest symptom of intrathoracic disease. The patient who presents this complaint should have a thorough study of his chest including x-ray inspection. The surgical removal of an intrathoracic neoplasm often may bring about dramatic relief of such arthralgia.
