1) Pulmonary aspergillosis is a rare disease difficult to diagnose because it is often confused with pulmonary tuberculosis.
2) In all cases of pulmonary affections where pulmonary tuberculosis is excluded, search for pulmonary aspergillosis should not be omitted.
3) The disease has usually a chronic course, but there are acute cases.
4) Pulmonary aspergillosis causes considerable harmful toxic effects on the whole organism, especially on the heart muscle (myocardium) and on the neuropsychic system.
5) Penicillin and sulfonamides whether separately administered or in combination have curative results on pulmonary aspergillosis, provided the disease is diagnosed in time.
