Obscured Bronchiogenic Carcinoma Report of a Case with Necropsy

1) A case of bronchiogenic carcinoma with massive retroperitoneal hemorrhage due to an adrenal metastasis is reported. [see Figure 6,7 in source pdf]

2) The ease with which small areas of blood-borne metastatic bronchiogenic carcinoma in the ipsolateral lung can be obscured by severe chronic pneumonitis is illustrated.

3) Attention is drawn to the occurrence of wide-spread metastases from minute occult bronchiogenic carcinoma.
