Pulmonary Atelectasis Complicating Bronchial Asthma

HARRY B. GREENBERG M.D., F.C.C.P.1

1 Department of Medicine, Touro Infirmary.

Persistence of asthmatic paroxysms in spite of adequate therapy suggests the presence of some complication. Careful physical and roentgenographic examination will often reveal the presence of previously unsuspected atelectasis.
