A case of a solitary amyloid tumor of the lung, verified at operation, is reported. A tabular review and an anatomic and roentgenologic classification of earlier reported tumor-forming amyloidosis in the lower respiratory system is presented. The need for more extensive clinical and biochemical investigations in primary amyloidosis is stressed.
