1. Twenty cases of pleuropulmonary amebiasis seen in Baghdad during the last five years are reported.
2. The clinical, radiologic and pathologic features are analyzed and the therapeutic regimen is outlined.
3. The importance of practitioners, in areas where amebiasis is endemic, being fully aware of the pleuropulmonary manifestations of this disease is emphasized.
