Primary Carcinoma of the Lung

A Review of 417 Histologically Proved Cases

Four hundred seventeen hisologically proved cases of primary carcinoma of the lung have been reviewed. Stress has been placed on the findings of the clinical examination

and simple basic diagnostic procedures at the time of the patient's first hospital admission. A histopathologic classification has been submitted. Sites of metastasis and correlation of the type of carcinoma with the sex and smoking habits have been detailed. The results of resectional therapy (five years survivals) and non-surgical therapy have been visualized.
