Echinococcus Cysts of the Lung

A brief review of the mode of infection of the human lung by the tapeworm (Taenia echinococcus) is given. The clinical symptoms and complications are described. The various procedures of treatment are analyzed and the indications for their application defined, as based upon 142 operations for treatment of hydatid cysts.
