Bagasse Disease of the Lungs — After 25 Years

After 25 years of study by many investigators, the nature of bagassosis remains an enigma. Advances in the understanding of three important areas of controversy—the basic nature of the process, the mechanisms of development, and the ultimate resolution of the pathologic process—have been reviewed and the present status evaluated.
