Isoniazid and Impairment of Memory

During treatment with isoniazid, patients often have a clinically characteristic impairment of memory. Based upon this experience, a psychologist developed a special memory test (a "subtle" test). Testing before, during and after treatment showed a statistically significant impairment of memory at the examination during treatment as compared with the examinations before and after treatment.
