A granulomatous thymoma was removed from a seven-year-old girl after she had been anorexic for approximately four months, and had endured generalized pruritis for three months. Thick fibrous septae, epithelial lined cysts, numerous epithelioid cells which formed Hassall's bodies, and the histology and staining characteristics of the Reed-Sternberg-like cells served to distinguish this tumor from Hodgkin's disease involving the thymus.
