Cholesterol Pneumonitis

A unique case of diffuse cholesterol pneumonitis is described in detail. This disease should be considered in the differential diagnosis of the interstitial pneumonias, especially in patients with diffuse airways obstruction. Although medical management of the disease is not completely clear, steroids and the reversal of airways obstruction, when present, may be beneficial.
