Treatment of Pulmonary Histoplasmosis

We have outlined our method for administration of amphotericin B to patients with pulmonary histoplasmosis and have mentioned some of our surgical indications. In summary, amphotericin B is the most potent drug available at the present time for the medical treatment of histoplasmosis and is of extreme benefit when used in combination with surgery for this disease also.
