Pacemakers for Digitalis Associated Bradyarrhythmia

Three patients with refractory congestive heart failure are described in whom the use of digitalis was associated with serious bradyarrhythmias. In each, the implantation of a demand transvenous pacemaker permitted safe resumption of the drug with marked clinical improvement.
