Clinical and necropsy findings in a one-year-old boy with a single coronary artery arising from the pulmonary trunk and a ventricular septal defect are described. The prognosis of such cases is related to the presence of additional cardiac defects and a well developed coronary tree that allow increase of coronary flow and perfusion.
