A case of tracheobronchopathia osteoplastica with widespread primary amyloidosis of the tracheobronchial mucosa is presented. Review of recent literature concerning both subjects and our own case material reveals an intimate interrelationship between both conditions. It is suggested that tracheobronchopathia osteoplastica is the end result of primary lung amyloidosis.
