Two cases of extralobar, eight cases of intralobar sequestration and one case of the scimitar syndrome are reported. Surgery was performed in all cases with no hospital death. Two patients had an associated heart defect; four malformations were on the right side, one in the upper lobe. A review of the extralobar and intralobar types of sequestrations is presented. The role of angiographic studies is emphasized: other diagnostic means and treatment are discussed.
