We have observed a patient with three synchronous primary carcinomas involving two organs. An occult adenocarcinoma of the colon was found during investigation for a pulmonary lesion which proved to be a squamous cell carcinoma. When the resected lung was examined histologically, a third carcinoma of an oat cell type was identified.
