Aortic Insufficiency due to Hemophilus Aphrophilus with Prosthetic Valve Replacement

Acute bacterial endocarditis due to Hemophilus aphrophilus is a rare entity. A patient is presented who had aortic valve involvement with this organism, requiring replacement with a prosthetic valve.
