Lung Injury in Anaphylactoid Shock

Shock secondary to anaphylactoid reaction may lead to sudden and persistent adverse changes in the lungs producing repiratory failure. Anaphylactoid shock should be considered one of the causes of the shock lung syndrome, as well as the adult respiratory distress syndrome.
