Symptomatic Venous Compression from a Mediastinal Cystic Lymphangioma

Symptomatic obstruction of the left innominate vein due to a cystic lymphangioma located in the superior mediastinum is reported. The report emphasizes that mediastinal venous compression does not necessarily imply a grave prognosis and that resection of a benign lesion can be curative.
