Hemi-constriction of the Heart in Uremic Pericarditis

Constrictive pericarditis involving the right side of the heart only, occurred in a uremic patient undergoing hemodialysis. In addition, a large thrombus in the pericardial space impaired right ventricular filling. There was a favorable response to pericardiectomy.
