1 Thoracic Surgeon, Pack Medical Group
A 56-year-old white woman developed, 20 years after a lucite ball plombage, tuberculous extrapleural empyema extending to the subcutaneous region. She was treated successfully with combined antituberculosis drugs and surgical resection which eliminated permanently the old thoracoplasty, empyema and pulmonary lesion.
