Spontaneous Hemothorax in an Otherwise Healthy Young Man

Robert O. Slind M.D.1 and Joseph R. Rodarte M.D.1

1 Mayo Clinic and Mayo Foundatio, Rochester, Minn

No predisposing illness was identified and there was no history of trauma. To our knowledge, this is the first report of spontaneous hemothorax without identifiable cause.
