Atrial Contribution to Ventricular Function in the Transplated Human Heart-Noninvasive Demonstration by Systolic Time Intervals

Many studies, both research and clinical, have shown augmentation of ventricular function by a properly timed, preceding atrial contraction. This report concerns the noninvasive demonstration of this phenomenon in the human transplanted heart.
