In the October 2001, the article, "Prognostic Power of Dobutamine Echocardiography After Uncomplicated Acute Myocardial Infarction in the Elderly" (CHEST 2001; 120:1200–1205 ) by del Mar de la Torre et al, contained an error. On page 1205, the first sentence of the "Conclusion" section should read "Inducible worsening of contractility during DSE within 10 days after uncomplicated AMI is an independent predictor of impaired outcome in elderly patients."

In the November 2001 issue, the article, "Indirect and Direct Gas Exchange at Maximum Exercise in Beryllium Sensitization and Disease" (CHEST 2001; 120:1702–1708 ) by Lundgren and colleagues, contained an error. In the abstract, the correlation of SpO2 and SaO2 at maximum exercise should be 0.55 not -0.55. This value was shown correctly in the text of the article.
