Errata

In the January 2005 issue, in the article by Vendrell et al, "Antibody Production Deficiency With Normal IgG Levels in Bronchiectasis of Unknown Etiology" (Chest 2005; 127:197–204 ), the authors wish to add to the acknowledgments that the study was funded in part by RedRedpira ISCii RTYC-CO3/11.

In the June 2005 issue, the article by Stroobant et al, "Relation Between Neurocognitive Impairment, Embolic Load, and Cerebovascular Reactivity Following On- and Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting" (Chest 2005; 127:1967–1976 ), contains a small error. The 6-month results for the Grooved Pegboard test in Table 3 are for the on-pump group 182.0 (43.9) and for the off-pump group 187.1 (31.0).

In the July 2005 issue, in the article by Santo Tomas et al, "Risk Factors for Bronchiolitis Obliterans in Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem-Cell Transplantation for Leukemia" (Chest 2005; 128:153–161 ), the first author’s last name is Santo Tomas, not Tomas, as is shown in the citation.

In the July 2005 issue, in the article by Yang et al, "{alpha}1-Antitrypsin and Neutrophil Elastase Imbalance and Lung Cancer Risk" (Chest 2005; 128:445–452 ), one author should have been added in proof. The author list should read as follows: Ping Yang, MD, PhD; William Bamlet, MS; Zhifu Sun, MD, PhD; Jon O. Ebbert, MD; Marie-Christine Aubry, MD; Michael J. Krowka, MD; William R. In the August 2005 issue, in the article by Gegenhuber et al, "Plasma B-Type Natriuretic Peptide in Patients With Pleural Effusions: Preliminary Observations" (Chest 2005; 128:1003–1009 ), the last author’s name was misspelled; it is Meinhard Haltmayer. In the same paper, in Table 3, it should be "Plasma BNP Cutoff Concentration, ng/L."

In the September 2005 issue, in the article by Nasso et al, "Thoracic Radiation Therapy and Suitability of Internal Thoracic Arteries for Myocardial Revascularization" (Chest 2005; 128:1587–1592 ), the correct spelling of the fourth author is Pietro Modugno.

In the September 2005 issue, in the article by Maddor et al, "Effect of Respiratory Muscle Endurance Training in Patients With COPD Undergoing Pulmonary Rehabilitation" (Chest 2005; 128:1216–1224 , the first name of Dr. Deniz was incorrectly spelled. It is Omer.

In the October 2005 issue, in the article by Xu et al, "Prevalence of Physician-Diagnosed COPD and Its Association With Smoking Among Urban and Rural Residents in Regional Mainland China" (Chest 2005; 128:2818–2823 ), the correct country for the corresponding author’s address is PRC.

In the November 2005 issue, in the article by Cheng and Vintch, "A Retrospective Analysis of the Management of Parapneumonic Empyemas in a County Teaching Facility From 1992 to 2004" (Chest 2005; 128:3284–3290 ), the affliliation given at the bottom of the first column of page 3284 should read: *From the Division of Respiratory and Critical Care, Physiology and Medicine, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Torrance, CA.

In the November 2005 issue, in the article by Valentino et al, "Hypoxemic Respiratory Failure in a 57-Year-Old Woman With Acute Monocytic Leukemia" the term fibroblast was incorrectly used for blast. To ensure that there is no confusion, the online version was replaced. The online version should be used instead of the version that occurred in print.
