Errata

In the September 2005 issue, in the article by Chambellan et al, "Prognostic Value of Hemaocrit in Patients with Severe COPD Receiving Long-term Oxygen Therapy" (Chest 2005; 128:1201–1208 ), the caption to accompany Figure 2 should read, "Figure 2. Kaplan-Meier 10-years survival analysis of influence of hematocrit calculated by the actuarial method." The initial number of patients in each group of hematocrit level was n = 120 (Ht 35%), 323 (35 to 39%), 675 (40 to 44%), 739 (45 to 49%), 456 (50 to 54%), and 211 (Ht ≥ 55%). Log rank = 171; ddl = (p 0.001).

In the December 2005 issue, in the article by Douglas et al, "Impact of a Disease Management Program Upon Caregivers of Chronically Ill Patients" (Chest 2005; 128:3925–3936 ), Figures 3 and 4 did not reproduce properly in print. They should have appeared as shown here:

In the December 2005 issue, in the article by Kollef et al, "Epidemiology and Outcomes of Health-care-Associated Pneumonia: Results From a Large US Database of Culture-Positive Pneumonia (Chest 2005; 128:3854–3862 ), the affiliation for Dr. Andrew Shorr should be Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC.

In the January 2006 issue, in the article by Caplan-Shaw et al, "Osteoporosis in Diffuse Parenchymal Lung Disease (Chest 2006;129:140–146 ), the affiliation should read: From the Departments of Medicine (Drs. Caplan-Shaw, Arcasoy, Shane, Kawut amd Ms. Addesso) and Surgery (Dr. Sonnett), Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the Deparment of Medicine (Mr. O’Shea), Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY.
