Dear Editor

It was with interest I read the guidelines on antithrombotic therapy in PAD by Sobel and Verhaeghe. Unfortunately there is, as I believe, a major typing error in the abstract. In the first occurrence of the acronym PAD (line 7), it is explained as pulmonary artery disease, where it should read peripheral instead of pulmonary.
